It's Garage Sale Season!

Good luck to everyone who is going out to the garage sales this season...the first big neighborhood garage sale of the year is this weekend for me and I hope to find some old video games and anything movie related...anyone else go garage saling? and if so post some of your finds here...

I am always trying to check garage sales for old video games and systems. Of course the systems I am looking for at this point are likely not to be found. Mostly obscure ones. Games are always good but I never seem to find any, my mother in law hit a jackpot for me last year an bought me a ton of old Atari 2600 games and then about 10-12 N64 games but that is the best i have found outside of a couple of genesis games. Keep me updated on you video game finds as I am always interested in what can be had.

I don’t go shopping for anything other than clothes for the kids…..i’m a firm believer that 2 & 4 year old kids don’t need brand new everything.

We get them new stuff for b-day’s & xmas. Everything else comes from garage sales as long as it’s in good condition.

We have a garage sale every year….it’s a good place to unload dvd’s for $5 each!!

We made about $500 this year (me & my wife, we have 8-9 family members that bring stuff over) in 2 days.
