Default Master Charles' Hallway Home Theater

When I got enough money to buy my TV I had no idea where I was going to put it. I am only 17 and there isn't ample room in my house especially not enough for a home theater.....or so I thought. Our hallway is rather large, it has an indent toward my driveway and the space was being occupied by a large futon that was just loaded up with crap. I decided instead of turning my room into a home theater (my room was way too small) I would convert this hallway. I set up my la-z-boy and stuck the TV on the far side after I cleared the area and since then I have been trying to improve it. Please check it out, tell me what you think and what I can improve upon. I am thinking of putting a red or black curtain behind the TV to cover up that beige.

Check my Gallery!

All of this stuff was paid for by me. The second TV I use to watch cable sometimes if I am playing Xbox 360 on the big TV. I use it more to play Super Nintendo while I am watching sports on the big TV.

Bonus: I have been trying to find a place for these and maybe you guys can help me out. They are hand carved and painted by me and I think they would look sick in my home theater but as you can see I already have a lot of crap. I might just save them for when I get more space.

Double Bonus: I came across this while I was taking the pictures and I thought I would share it with you guys (the only people who can truly appreciate it). When I was around 7 Star Wars really hit me, hard. I think I had strep throat or something and while I was home I made an effort to find them all on HBO, watch them and then record them onto tapes. This was not nearly good enough for me, I had to flaunt my accomplishment. So I took some cardboard and tape and constructed my first box set. The CD cases in there are the soundtracks. Since then I have been hooked on movies and collecting them. Once I have a bigger space I think I will displace this in a case, like a relic in a museum:

Please let me know what you think and what else I can do to improve my setup.

Update: Added pics of my Star Wars Original Film Cell and Yankee cup holder.

I like what you have done with what appears to be limited space. Great job!

I'm really diggin it, the sound must be pretty solid in that compact room.

I especially like the smaller T.V for classical games when Sports / Program is on. Me and my homies have a smaller t.v just set for that whenever we feel the urge to play Super Smash Brothers or NBA JAM when a game is on.

I also need a new receiver since mine doesn't do HDMI and I want lossless audio. Any recommendations? I really love my Onkyo but I feel an upgrade would be a nice addition.

Just bought a Mini DVI to HDMI for my macbook and I have boxee running on it. It will add nicely to my home theater. I was going to wait for the Boxee box but it got pushed back to Nov.

I might just buy an old mac mini, I would love to have a home theater computer!

Ah my first Harmony remote. You'll like the 880. I've since had the Harmony One and (2) 1100s. Congrats!
