I also have not seen much as i usually don't go to the theatre.
Shutter Island - i was fairly impressed with this, went in thinking it was gonna be a horror movie, and i was pleasently surprised. The camera work and presentation was amazing, and i always like exploration of the mind themes. Overall decent flick. Not sure what else i have seen that is a 2010 movie lol, can i get a comprehensive list to pick from ![]() |

Haven't even seen five movies! I've only seen:
01: Book of Eli 02: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 03: Iron Man 2 04: Nightmare on Elm Street I'm sure there are others out there that are better than these. |

01: "Inception" 02: "Kick Ass" 03: "Toy Story 3" 04: "Iron Man 2" 05: "How to Train Your Dragon" Runner ups would be "The Book of Eli" and "Alice in Wonderland." Also enjoyed "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," "From Paris With Love," "Splice," "Fozen," "Nightmare on Elm Street," "Clash of the Titans," "The Crazies," "The Wolfman," "Halo Legends," and the "Drawn Together" movie. Not sure about "Edge of Darkness" or "White Wall." Hated "The Last Airbender." Last edited by Al_The_Strange; 12-13-2010 at 07:22 AM. |

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Kickass How to Train Your Dragon Iron Man 2 I'm having difficulty coming up with one more. Maybe Splice, Daybreakers or The Crazies, all of which surprised me. I'd like to say The Secret in Their Eyes because the acting was great and there was a great story in there but it was undermined by relying on too many implausibilities. I haven't been pleased with this year's releases at all, (and I watch a lot of new releases). This summer has made last year's anemic summer look like gold. The only movie I've really liked all year was 'Inception', then everything else is almost equally mediocre. I guess the next four that I hated the least (in no particular order), were 'Kick Ass', 'Robin Hood', 'Youth in Revolt', and 'Shutter Island', none of which are very high on my priority list of blu-ray purchases. I had high hopes and was very disappointed by 'Iron Man 2'.
I sure hope the fall season picks up, this year has been a real dud so far. |
