Default Tilt Control

Which racing games utilize the tilt control capability? I find it much more intuitive than nudging the stick with my thumb. I have Burnout Paradise and enjoy the tilt control option. It's not readily apparent which games use this. Can anyone share some data? Thanks!

I think Motorstorm uses it.

Default Motorstorm

Yea, I played Motorstorm and was looking forward to the second version."Pacific Rift", but to my dismay it didn't have an option for using the tilt control. Do most players really prefer to negotiate an intricate track by nudging with the thumb toggle?!

Tilt probably has more degrees of analog, at the very least they're spread out and easier to make use of but the bigger movements are more tiring and there's no auto snap back to neutral like a stick.

If you practise I'm sure you can get an advantage in many supporting games.

Yes, I can't stand the motion control! Besides making my arms and hands tired I find the thumbsticks to be much more accurate and easier to control not just with racing games but with every game. IMHOP sony screwed up big time by putting this gimmicky feature in an already perfect DualShock controller. And to make matters worse the rumble in the DualShock 3 controller is nowhere as good and strong as it was in the DualShock 2. The two dumbest decisions that sony ever made was to change the perfect DualShock 2 controller and stop the backwards compatibility on the PS3 after including it on earlier original versions.

Sony you make good products but you have some people making stupid ****ing decisions.

Formula One Championship Edition also supports this, as far as I can remember. Having said that, I whole heartedly agree with the points made by Shin-Ra and ChrisV. There is a new F1 game due out later this year, which will be a day one purchase for me, but even if it supports this feature I'll not be using it - imagine racing 50 or 60 laps around Monte Carlo holding your controller in mid air - you'll end up with arms like Popye! Ugg Ugg Ugg!
