I don't know about the HD-DVD but the unrated version was available at release on DVD.

Looking forward to the upgrade on this one.

interestingly enough the Free Itunes copy that comes with it (although it's compatible with Vudu's disc to digital in HDX) is not listed yet , only the Theatrical which did not come with the blu ray. Thats not always the case but this time it was. I didn't expect the code to work since it expired in 2012 but with Itunes often you can't tell. so far 99.99999% of Itunes digital copies with a disc usually work. I have only had 1 or 2 fail. (invalid code) Some of the UV's are starting to expire though. Up until this year this wasn't the case. If it were up to me.. Anything that used to be on UV as a free copy then should be offered as a disc to Vudu compatible. (I say only Vudu now because Flixster seems to have dropped conversion and CinemaNow is usually a joke to get to actually work. Telling me I have to connect to UV and I do 9 times before saying WTF and giving up. I assume CinemaNow still works since the program still works. But I have no idea. I put in the add on the Itunes copy. I'd never put one in before so I was just used to putting in the website for it. not the ID. Been learning alot this year from blu-ray.com including that Error 42 that shows up all the time now unless I go thru the forums first.

(PS: I do have the HD DVD, and this is part of the reasons I don't entirely understand the concept of not supporting the listing of dvd's as a priority (I do understand HD DVD, although I think it should be listed so I know what to switch formats. I was never an HD DVD fan . 2007 the entire MCSE class including the teacher said I was so far wrong. Sony has never made anything right , everyone had HD DVD and I'm like.. Whats in a name? Confusion? Turns out when I got one They also have all of DVD's problems. but worse. Cracks, scratches and weird clouding. And some now hddvd rot. (used to be called laser rot for LD's) Brand new disc fails to read. (The Fountain very bad) I just don't understand the concept. Even more so now with the last VCR maker ending production. We should be able to list our VHS movies. More or less to push whoever owns said movie to make the thing on blu ray. I'm not particular about the quality. Do it on the cheap but get it off VHS. (roll eyes) I have maybe 3-4 movies left on VHS that are only on VHS. Parents even more so. )

Has this ever happened to anyone? I watched this disc tonight (I bought it as part of the double-feature with the Jackal a few years ago and now finally got around to watching it) and as the film unfolded, I realized I had seen this before. I'm usually able to recall not only every movie I've seen but when and where I first saw it (more or less). But, yep, this one slipped from my memory banks. I think I might have mixed it up with something else from around the same time (maybe Desperate Measures). Anyway, it was a solid thriller, not memorable (obviously!) but a good time waster.
