United Kingdom Fame Remake Bluray Quality?

Hi everyone, i just wanted to know what the quality of the new Fame was like on bluray, if the quality is good then the film will look stunning, as it has some nice slow motion scenes! Also this is for the UK release as im interested in buying it from HMV.
Thanks Ben x

saw it for £8 in HMV the other day. £8!!!! Was kicking myself cos I'd bought the DVD a few weeks earlier, cos I didn't want to spend the £21 on the blu-ray as it was priced then. If only I had waited...

The visual quality is really nice on the remake. The film itself, unfortunately, is pretty bad and plays like an episode of "Gossip Girl" but where they sing and dance. At the end of the film I realized that I didn't even know the names of any of the characters: such a far cry from the original FAME from 1980. That said, the Blu of the original is really quite beautiful as well and makes a great addition to any film buff's collection.

I did my bit of shopping lol! I bought fame in HMV in the end for the £8 you said it was! I was actually disgusted with the price of Blurays in HMV they wanted like £20 for most of the blurays and i was like oo ill have a look for Wall-e but nooooo it was £28!!!! I mean that much for a bluray is stupid! It took me about half an hour to looked through them all cause i was like o this looks good looked at the price far to expensive! I was very disappointed so i only ended up getting Fame!

It's a joke seriously, I don't know why they bother, stick with their website, much easier - and they wonder why the high street is failing eh?! Teehee ;o)

Can't Agree with you more! I only bought Fame in the store because i was there and wanted to watch it tonight, otherwise i would have bought i online where it is actually cheaper! I very rarely buy thing from the actual stores and if i do it has to be a bargain or i want it there and then.

i do tend to buy most of mine stuff online, but sometimes isn't nice to have something to bring home? like to have it instantly? sometimes paying more is worth it.

not silly things like £28 though...
