Default Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

Camp Rock 2 will be coming out September 7th in a Disney combo pack. I liked the first one more then I thought I would considering the Jonas brothers are in it. So I'm looking forward to this one.

Part 2, and it's already "Final"?
I know they're trying to suggest that HSM3 vibe, but that sure didn't take long!

It hasn't aired yet it's on September 3rd and then a week later is released on Blu-ray. I also think they shouldn't have called it the final jam as there is most likely going to be a 3rd Camp Rock.

it scares me that these get released on Blu-ray.. but nothing else does.. i'd rather have seen something like Wizards Of Waverly Place on Blu-ray than this. i actually saw this once, it was alright.. until Joe Jonas came on screen.. but that's just me lol

it's probably called The Final Jam because the plot of the film is that it's the two camps have a sort of battle of the camps type thing, and the Camp Rock camp would go under if they don't win.. that's just what i got from the one time i've seen the tv spot for the movie (i don't plan on ever watching this)

Disney hasn't officially announced the release yet though, may be the date it ends up being released on, but we'll just have to see

Yeah I really wanted Wizards released on Blu-ray. That is the correct date though unless they change it. We always get a release date and box art before we get the official press release nowadays.

You're also right about the plot. The 2 camps compete with each other in the final jam to see who get's to stay opened.

That's actually a reference to the first movie. It's a talent show contest of sorts. Except in this movie it was between two different camps.

I was surprised by how much I liked this movie. I only tuned in to stare at Maria Canals-Barrera for a few minutes and was surprised to find myself hooked. It is a different animal than the first movie, though. The sequel is a musical whereas the first movie was a talky drama with a few montages where the characters were performing. Here people actually randomly break out into song and dance.

Anyhoo, if the price is rright, I would mind owning it on BD as it's a great time waster.

I like Theresa too, guess I'll have to give it a watch the next time it's on one of the Disney channels.

Watching this for the first time on blu since I got it used years ago from GoHastings.

Meaghan Martin (the main blonde girl in the movie) really can't dance. Yikes. No wonder she's barely shown dancing and when she is, she's awful. Keep an eye on her if you re-watch this. Once you see it, it can't be unseen. Did Disney not have any other pretty basic blonde actresses who could do a better job at the time?
