Official Rescue Me Season 6 Discussion

Didnt see a thread for this so I thought I would start one up, Season starts tomorrow June 29th and i for one cant wait to see what happens...

The cliffhanger for the season is set after Teddy shoots Tommy twice in the shoulder during an after-hours party, apparently leaving Tommy to bleed to death. Teddy threatens to kill anyone who tries to leave and go for help.

Thank you for posting that, I could not for the life of me remember how the hell it ended. Now I remember it was in the bar. I kept wondering and trying to remember why in the hell the previews was showing Tommy on a crash cart all bloody lol.

A few months back I intended to fully rewatch the entire series in preparation for the premiere tomorrow, and made it to season 4 episode 2, before getting so busy that I forgot completely. Now I have no time to watch those 40 episodes or so.

I just hope I'll be able to watch tomorrow nights premiere and Louie to. I am putting a new roof on my house and tomorrow I am at the last spot I saved till the very end which requires me removing my dish completely so I can put the new shingles down and I didn't realize I had saved it till the day Rescue Me and Louie premiere. So now I gotta hope that I can get it all done in time and realigned or i'm totally SOL.

Yah so it looks like Tommy survived the shooting from the previews.. Cant wait to see how this unfolds...

Honestly this is one my fav shows on right now... Ever since Lost and 24 ended I cant really get into anything else...

So it was a pretty good premiere. I'd just forgotten so damn much from last season that it took me awhile to be able to follow.

Tommy's life seems even more pathetic and screwed up than before. He's pretty much ruined Colleen cause she's exactly like him now. Remember when the show first started and she was only a rude teenage girl, now she's a depressed, alcoholic who just sits around drinking all day. Both of Tommy's ex's went from competing over him to pretty much wishing him dead.....again. Everybody around him outside of the fire house hates him. This looks to be a really dark and depressing season.

Cant believe were the only 2 on this entire forum that watch Rescue me?

Damn !! I totally forgot about this!! My series recordings got reset and never got to setting this back up. Will have to catch online tonight.

I had a Rescue Me thread, it's floating around somewhere in the archives but there really weren't more than 5 people joining in the discussion even than lol. Too many reality tv fans I guess.

[Show spoiler]I wonder if Damien is dead, though? Maybe he's just critically injured? They said in the preview they lost a firefighter...maybe he's paralyzed or something?

I wonder how Lou deals with this? He wasn't supposed to be out there, anyways.

I also wonder if this will cause the final split between Tommy and Janet. Do you think Tommy and Sheila turn to each other again, like after Jimmy's death? Next weeks' finale is going to be awesome. This season has been spectacular. It flew by so fast, too. That is okay though, I'm ready for some SONS!!!

I really liked the episode but the end really bugged me.

[Show spoiler]They knew they were in a dangerous situation and they were told to double-time it and get the hell out of there so they got fully bunkered up (including their SCBAs) yet Damian, after making it through, came back without his SCBA or helmet on to tell the guys that they gotta get out of there. I know it's a fictional show and certain things need to be done for the sake of the story but Rescue Me gets just about everything accurate so a mistake that big really irked me.

Okay, I'm done venting now.

[Show spoiler]Lou said to his doctor that they “just lost a guy on our crew; a young kid.” That doesn't sound to me like he was just hurt. Not to mention if you slow mo that roof falling his neck snapped HARD like way to hard to survive. They commented on how the coffins where such a bad omen and than idiot Damien runs back with no helmet.
