Exclamation How do you protect your collection?

No im not going to read this and rob you...Im just wondering how everyone treats their collection, whether it be your Entertainment system, BD's, regular DVD's or whatever? How does everyone protect their investment? Do you have any suggestions for me or another member here on the forums? Just curious and wanting to know if i should be safeguarding my collection in different manner.

don't play frisbee with them, don't step on them, don't use as coasters, etc. really, i try to handle only one side and if not in the player keep in the case and out of reach of anything under 36 inches tall.

I would suggest renter's or homeowner's insurance, whichever is appropriate to your situation. Keep an up to date inventory with pictures, preferably with a copy stored outside the home in case of fire, flood, etc.

As far as handling them - Take it out of case, put it in player. When done, take it out of player and put it in case.

I don't know how people end up scratching and kind of disc media - I've never had issues when any scratching.
