Default I need a radar detector .. Escort/passpot 9500 ix, Or Valentine 1 .?

Im sick of the lame ass unmarked sneaky state Troopers who pull me over for going 5 mph over the speed limit.. And I dont like to drive slow, so thats not an option..

So that said.. WHat do you guys think? Anyone have either of them , or any other suggestions?

I have a V1 and the 9500Ci (built in). Both are great...do you know if they use Radar or Laser more? I find they use Laser here a lot more, so i went with a Blinder as well which is a Laser Jammer. The V1 is great, and will probably give you the most distance for a warning on radar, but if they laser you, it is instant, and you are screwed...unless yo have a jammer, which shoots a few lasers back and then they get an Error code...you slow down and the Jammer shuts off...then they shoot you again and you are legal...

Radar jammers (also called "active radar scramblers") are illegal to SELL or USE in every U.S. state, all of Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, as well as most other countries.

Jammers are definitely not legal in Minnesota, from the official state Office of Revisor of Statutes:
Subd. 12. Radar jammer. For purposes of this section, "radar jammer" means any instrument, device, or equipment designed or intended for use with a vehicle or otherwise to jam
or interfere in any manner with a speed-measuring device operated by a peace officer.
No person shall sell, offer for sale, use, or possess any radar jammer in this state.

I've had a Beltronics RX65 for several years. It hasn't let me down, yet.
