I have a MGS4 PS3 Bundle and was wondering is this just the 60 gig model with a larger harddrive? I have 4 USB ports and all the memory card readers.

No, it isn't. There are actually two models, and what I think you have is the (original) 80GB SKU, which uses hardware emulation for backwards compatibility, because you stated that you have four USB ports.
The other SKU is the gunmetal grey one, which is a 40GB model. |

No it's not the same as the original 60GB models. Yes there are similarities like the 4 usb ports and media card readers but the differences lie with the backwards compatibility. The original 60GB model had both the "Emotion Engine" CPU and "Graphics Synthesizer" GPU from the PS2, so it is fully backwards compatible with all PS2 games. The Metal Gear 4 80GB model like you have only has the "Graphics Synthesizer" GPU and not the CPU, therefore, its only partially compatible with PS2 games through software emulation. Roughly about 80% of PS2 games I think work with the Metal Gear 4 model, similar to the Motorstorm 80GB bundle.

Cool thanks for the info guys, I do love that console, piano black and chrome, memory card reader, 4 USB ports and good backward compatability.

That's why I bought one whilst I was fixing my 40GB long ago, but ofcourse the E.E. chip in the 60GB was dead. Have yet to go shopping for a replacement chip.
