Teen Titans movie?

What happened, I heard after the animated show ended that we were going to get a live action Teen Titans movie. Here's who I'd cast -
Starfire - Danielle Panabaker
Raven - Selena Gomez
Beast Boy - David Henrie
Robin - Liam Hemsworth
Not sure who I'd cast as Cyborg

But that was back before Warner quit trying to cable-synergize their Cartoon Network flagships (around the same time as they'd revived the Batman franchise and thus no longer had any need of a live-action Batman Beyond), and set themselves to the Noble Task of a DC Justice League movie, to match Marvel's.

(Remember, in Hollywood, publicity is never obligated to tell you when studios have STOPPED thinking about a project...)

Well that's disappointing, hope we'll still get one in the near future, while people still have the team on their minds.

AFAIK, the only movie planned was the DTV Animated "Judas Contract" film that has been shelved.

Actually there was talks of a live action Teen Titans movie.

Yeah that's as far as it got I think them announcing it and having a script I think. I don't think we will be getting anymore Teen Titans as DC/WB is busy with Green Lantern, Batman, Superman and the Flash. Also don't think the popularity is there anymore. I think Young Justice would have a better chance then a TT movie.

Yes with what they have been doing in Smallville for the last three or four years, I always believed they would go with a Justice League movie at one point. But they keep making Smallville every time I think it's finally over.
