Great because the market isn't already saturated with music games. People would be stupid to get this at launch. I have 3 GH games and 2 RB games and I haven't paid more than $10 for any of them. This one won't be any different.

The good: Fantastic setlist, it really fits the motif of the game very well.

The bad: Guitar-centric game. Though to be fair, this is the first Guitar Hero game since GH3 that actually lives at all up to its name. As my primary instrument of choice is vocals, I can't bring myself to approve of this move, but I certainly understand what they're doing.

The ugly: It's Activision. Boo. If Starcraft II couldn't get my money, this game certainly won't either.

Pre-ordering gets you the entire new Soundgarden album, Telephantasm: A Retrospective. That's pretty cool. The setlist doesn't really have anything newer than even a few years old.

Decent set list but it's the GH platform BTW seeing Dire Straits on there....if "Sultans of Swing" hits a GH game before RB I will scream.

Oh, another game with fake plastic 'instruments', pass. I am actually very happy that the rhythm genre has faltered...

Sounds like it should be good fun - a step back is exactly what GH required as like Clock-punk pointed out it has always been the more 'Fun' orientated and 'Arcadey' of the two franchises - I'm really looking forward to getting this.
