God yes! Such a fun movie. It never gets old. I always walk away with a smile after watching this.

I just actually watched this tonight with my daughter streaming over Netflix. It was in HD and looked decent, not bluray quality but decent.

I can't imagine Warner Bros. and Paramount not taking advantage of the 3rd Pee-wee movie by releasing their Pee-wee movies if they aren't on Blu-ray by the time the new one hits but I don't necessarily see them holding out for it either. Pee-wee Herman is experiencing something of a resurgence already with the revival of "The Pee-wee Herman Show" and the first film at least has the Burton factor that means it will sell well enough on its own without even needing a tie-in.

But yeah, it should only be a matter of time.

I wouldn't mind if WB just threw the DVD extras onto a Blu-ray with a new HD transfer but I'd actually like to see Paramount show some love to "Big Top Pee-wee". There's no denying that it's the red-headed stepchild of the Pee-wee "canon" but I wouldn't be surprised if there were interesting stories about the choices they made.
