Just like the title says have you ever bought a game just for the sentimental value. I was just looking through the PSN store at the PS1 classics and seen A Bugs Life a game that I logged many hours on at one point in time. That got me thinking and led me to purchasing a copy of Rugrats Search for Reptar a game that I would play non stop when I was younger.

Oh yeah...but not just games. I've bought systems for sentimental value.
For example, I have a brand new Super Famicom sitting up in my closet that I purchased a few years ago (just because I have fond memories of the Super Nintendo and I've always favored the SFCs appearance/design over the SNES) I recently picked up copies of Halo and Halo 2 for the Xbox. Lately, I'm giving serious thought to purchasing copies of Final Fantasy X and XII for the PS2 (even though my slim PS3 won't play them). ![]() Last edited by Monk360; 08-20-2010 at 02:39 PM. |

I've bought all kinds of things for sentimental value — more times than I care to recall. They tend to be video game related, but it offshoots into other things like vintage novelty T-shirts and retro shoes (like some of the Jordans from when I was growing up).
