The shipping is free anywhere in the world, and mine always come in thick cardboard sleeves. In this case however, you have no other option since Eureka! is making them themselves in a limited run.

This is being released by the same company who are releasing The Human Centipede SteelBook in a couple of months. Eureka will do this well.

Pre-ordered!

Are they charging your card right away or are they like Amazon and wait until it ships?

They've increased the price! I'm sure it was £17.99 the other day.

My pre-order is staying with Eureka.

Got my HMV Metropolis steelbook this morning and all ok Love the transfer and new orchestral score. Still maintain they should have added the Moroder edition for completeness and I personally think they should have allowed you to select playing the severely damaged Buenos Aires print scenes via seamless branching. But apart from that it's perfect and the commentary is simply fantastic. Just to imagine HG Wells attending the original New York premiere and slating it!!
The steelbook is my best yet and I have been considering for some time to pick up the other silent Masters of Cinema classics such as Sunrise, M and City Girl
