Now that is has been released elsewhere, does anyone know when the new version will be out in Australia/New Zealand?

I don't know how much longer I can wait...

and one of the posts state ""news from Universal that an Aus release has not yet been confirmed.""

So we might be in for a long wait

Yeah I rang Universal NZ about a possible replacement program, they pretty much just said to call back when Australia releases it.

I have contacted Universal Australia regarding this twice, and both times that have told me that they cannot confirm when this is being released, but I have been assured that I will know as soon as they do.
