Goodfellas isn't a very good blu-ray. Lossy audio, mediocre video. It's a better film IMO, but if you've seen both, then I'm sure you already know where your preference lies.

That should be a crime! Goodfellas without a doubt is one of the best movies ever, but the audio and picture quality of the blu are horrible.

Why do you think it's a spoiler! It's just one of those I never got around to or saw when I was younger and don't remember it.

Goodfellas is a fantasticer movie!
[Show spoiler]Saw Departed

Seriously,go for the one you feel has the better replay value.Departed is abit flashier, and has excellent acting-as does goodfellas, but abit more slowpaced if one can aply that term to Marty's movies

If it's only which movie is better get Goodfellas. If the quality of the blu ray is a factor get Departed and wait either for an upgrade or a good price on it later down the line.

It's not even close, Goodfellas is way better than The Departed. The Departed is an American Infernal Affairs, which is a great film but it's no Goodfellas.

I like Goodfellas but I gotta go with The Departed. Its such a great film & I enjoy it better then Goodfellas. I also loved Infernal Affairs with Andy Lau which The Departed is based on.
