I know Band of Brothers isn't a movie but I just had to add it.
Not all are available on Blu but soon I hope.
If you add explain your choice.

Think you covered most of them there.Will like to add The Ogre,not strictly a warmovie,but set in wartime.Not as good as the book,but Malkovich almost always make a movie worth watching.It is good,but slightly rough round it's edges.

We Were Soldiers

-there is a Vietnam Vet on this forum who has said it is a very good depiction of the war...I'll definitely take his word for it!

I don't often watch war movies (and by that I mean rather rarely, actually) but I LOVED The Thin Red line. It is by far the best that I've seen (out of a very small sample).

If I was to watch another war movie, it would be Full Metal Jacket, which I've yet to see. If it tops The Thin Red Line I will be very impressed.
