This may not be a fact yet, but my vote for first show canceled of the season has got to be $#*! My Dad Says, it has been getting horrible reviews from everybody and just looks like shit.

I think $#*! My Dad Says won't be canceled early because it has such a strong lead-in with The Big Bang Theory and it's in a relatively weak time slot. It draws a different demographic than Vampire Diaries, Bones, and My Generation and likely draws an older demographic than 30 Rock, which has never been a ratings juggernaut anyway. I agree the show looks awful but I think it lasts a whole season, at least. I think My Generation could be the first cancellation. The show has absolutely no buzz, no big stars, and ABC has done little to promote it.

It's very possible, but I wonder what they would use as a lead-in for Running Wilde. I suppose they could use Family Guy or The Simpsons but they don't pair well. Fox has done a lot of promotion for Raising Hope and I think they would give it at least a month since they really don't have anything to replace it with. I don't have high hopes for Running Wilde either though, even though I love the cast and creators, and reviews haven't been great and it doesn't seem like a very mainstream show, so it wouldn't shock me if both shows got pulled for House reruns and moved to Sundays at 7:00 Eastern when they don't have the late football game.

Christ, Chase was worse than I imagined. I'm skipping my three episode rule, the first 15 minutes where a painful chore to get through. I hope this dies fast, especially if it means Lone Star can stay. Seriously an adult actually asked "Who is Waylon Jennings" whether you listen to country or not, everybody has heard of Waylon.

1.3 is bad on it's own, but that's especially bad considering it had House as a lead-in. Lone Star lost over 60% of House's viewers, as House had 10.54 million viewers and Lone Star only had 4.06 million. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull Lone Star from the schedule right away and replace it with House re-runs.

The Event did well with 11.19 million viewers, and Two and a Half Men and Mike and Molly both had solid numbers with 14.5 million and 12.24 million. Dancing with the Stars dominated the night with 20.14 million viewers during the 8:00 hour and 21.87 million viewers during the 9:00 hour. Really all the shows for the night did fine with the exception of Lone Star.

First full update of the new year!

IMO, of all the new shows last night Chase and The Event where by far the worst. Lone Star was a beautifully shot show that had me captivated from the the beginning so I am really really bummed that this has no chance. Though I do expect the Event to lose quite a chunk of it's viewers by next week, cause I know I cannot be the only person who saw more than they needed to last night and will not be returning to that series.
