Boy, there are sure a lot of people that get fired up about Sony vs. Microsoft (Xbox).
![]() Each company and each system offer a slightly different flavor of the same type of entertainment. Preferring one over the other doesn't mean the opposite one is junk. |

Blu-Ray is one of the biggest God send technologies ever. Almost everything I use made from MS fails so horrible its disgusting. Pay for a console, it breaks unacceptable, pay for an expensive bloated os, its infested with problems.

If you believe the stock market is any way a sign of collective opinion, then what can be concluded from a Microsoft stock that is the same price as it was a decade ago, with Apple having blown by Microsoft in market cap? Microsoft is now fourth in mobile OS, which clearly the market thinks is the future (smartphones and tablets). And Windows Phone 7 smacks of desperation. |

We must fight them in the Air, Land and Sea, HD-DVD must die die die.
With ISP caps you cannot stream HD with good audio. Sore loosers. Even Jodi Sally came around and saw the pure awsome and stimulation in blu-ray. |

My favourite part of that article,
"Microsoft is trying very hard to market the Xbox 360 to a more casual audience." There you have it. Microsoft now views their console as more of a product to replace the Wii now that it is beginning to lose steam. So, that leaves Sony as the only company who views their console as a powerhouse for EVERY demographic and not just the semi-coordinated 10 year old potty mouths across the globe! Could this be the first step towards Sony claiming victory in the console war much the same way that Blu-ray was able to claim victory over HD DVD? ![]() |

Its interesting that gaming consoles were used in a format war. I think it was the first and last time. I remember back in the format wars attachment rates were everything. The thing that hit Xbox down was that it never had a HD-DVD drive built in.(thank god)
