Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax: The Big 4 - Live from Sofia, Bulgaria Blu-ray
Warner Music | 2010 | Nov 02, 2010

Blu-ray.com Review

The Big Four is an expression designating the 4 most important American metal bands like Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. These are also the 4 groups best known American metal. It is from 1984 that young fans of Thrash Metal have begun to speculate on a concert that would combine the Big Four. Over the years, and after a few setbacks and tensions between groups, this vision together faded. It will take twenty-five years before new rumors, stronger and more present on many sites and fan communities, resurface. On the occasion of Sonisphere Festival 2010, the legendary Big Four share the poster for the first time. This already legendary concert was immortalized for giving Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria

This should be a great BD!

I like Anthrax, but in a dream world I would love to see Pantera instead.

How bad ass would that be. Pantera in HD. Hell I would settle for a quality DVD at this point. On the song Walk found on 101 proof Live, Phil Anselmo makes a comment that they're filming for the g.d. home video. That was 13 years ago. What the hell gives?

I can't be sure that any Pantera stuff was shot in anything better than SD video, but at the very least that Volume 4 video that was planned needs to be released in some form. Although next year is the 30th anniversary of Pantera's founding, so hopefully we'll see some releases to celebrate it.

Does anyone know the specs for this? Are we going to have to wait until it's released to get the specs?

I have mine on release day delivery with Amazon. I'll post the specs if no one else does.

Yeah, but shipping at Metallica.com is $15.
I think I will order from Amazon.com since the base price is only $1.50 more.
