United Kingdom Fox International Blu-rays

(500) Days of Summer, Jennifer's Body, Date Night, etc. All of these titles are missing several extras from their US counterparts.

Now, this wouldn't be so bad... if Fox didn't region lock the US releases! So, International buyers are stuck with literally half a Blu-ray release.

In cases where the distributor differs in countries, it makes sense, but Fox distributes the above movies in both the US and Internationally, so what's up?

It's really annoying - and it's not fair on us either. No wonder people shell out extra on region free players.

No need to shell out most of the time - I brought a Momitsu BDP-799 from Ebuyer (re-branded under their own "Foehn & Hirsch" name) for around £50.

I already owned a PS3 so have the Ebuyer player set permanently to Region A, but it can be switched back and forth with a remote hack. Takes the guess work and annoyance out of blu-ray buying.
