I'll probably get the boxset of the four instead of seperately, the first two are the best, 3rd was okay and the 4th is good, better than the 3rd at least...

As the artwork got updated to this:

Which looks a whole lot better imo.

The box looks thick enough from the spine to hold all 4 Shrek movies in their own individual cases though which is what I am hoping for.

As this comes out on the 6th, I wondered if anyone who pre-ordered it (and who may have it by now) could post some pics of it and confirm what exactly the packaging is like?

Cheers

I would like to know this aswell. Do all 4 movies have Dutch subs? Box in Belgium/Holland is expensive as hell.

Can anyone tell me if Shrek 2 has the voice substitutions (Kate Thornton for Joan Rivers, Jonathan Ross for Larry King) or whether it's the original version?
And also, what about the headbutt to karate chop alteration?
*fingers crossed for proper original version*
Were any of the other films affected by these needless changes?

I don't think any of the other Shreks were altered for the UK but 2 (on DVD) also has a dialogue alteration to all versions outside America, replacing John Cleese's line about "the old Crusade wound" with one about "the old hunting wound" So that's something else to look out for on the blu

I'll wait until the US release's 1 & 2 individually then pick them up as the UK version of Shrek 2 sucks with the stupid voice dubs, Jonathan Ross i can live with, but Kate (has been) Thornton ruins it for me.

Can anyone now confirm if the original voices are intact on Shrek 2 and not Kate Thornton's and Wossy's?

Headbutting is deemed an accessible form of violence, so cannot be shown without consequence at a U/PG. If left uncut the film would have warranted a 12, so was re-edited for a UK audience (presumably, the voice alterations were also made at this point). So unless Paramount are breaking the VRA, and shipping the "un-submitted but likely to achieve a 12 certificate" version, in a box labelled U the film will have been edited.
