Netflix Question - Blu-ray Forum

Hello all,

Recently moved and got netflix. Sure, there are some issues I have (new releases not timely from certain studios, increased cost for choosing blu-ray, etc.)

However, we love the instant streaming for our kid. It's been great to preview movies for him - recently found out he LOVES Up and Monsters Inc (he's 2 1/2).

Anyway, I have some questions.

Is there a way to access HD movies?
Can I change the audio to 5.1?
Can I delete a movie from the "recently viewed"? (We've used it mainly for kids movies, but the wife and I watched "Fido", a comedic zombie movie, and it shows up with all the kids movies in recently viewed, I'd love to remove it.)

No from my browsing and selecting it seems totally random when I get HD stuff and when I don't

I don't think you can change the audio

I know online you can change what shows up in the things you've tagged but not sure if you can from a recently viewed stand point

Cool, thanks. Besides searching through an exhaustive list is there s way to tell a movie has an hd option, or will it simply play the highest resolution your tv can handle?

All streaming movies will say in the streaming details if it is available. If not, it simply won't say.

Kind of disappointed, thought you could stream anything. Half the things I wanted to stream you have to get on disc.

Also, the hi-def streaming has a horrible catalog to choose from. Yuck!

Nah they still are missing butt loads of things to stream, but take it from me its MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better then when it launched/ early on.
