Is this Blu-Ray region locked? Will it play in a U.S. blu-ray player or ps3?

If it follows the previous BBC titles it will be region free, but Top Gear is filmed at 1080i/50 which can't be played on the PS3 (or most US Blu-Ray Players)

It's good to see titles like this hitting Blu-Ray as I buy the Clarkson DVDs every year, but I saw it in HMV for £20.. no way would I pay that for it!

It won't play on PS3? Are you sure? I have Planet Earth, which is also a BBC production and it plays all discs from that just fine. I'm in the UK, if that makes a difference. Is it just American PS3's you're talking about?

Clarkson's releases are not BBC productions, they're independent.
