Default The bigger letdown - Transformers audio or Die Hard PG-13 edition

There have been numerous threads of how people are upse at the "rated-theatrical" release of "Live Free or Die Hard". We want the Un-rated version damn it.

Recently it was made aware to HD-DVD followers that Transformers would not have TrueHD.

What do you guys think is more of a let down. No TrueHD on "Transformers" or the rated version of "Live Free or Die Hard".

Well it has to be die hard because I cant watch Transformers anyway. And bsides not having True HD only ruins the other side.

never cared for transformer, not because its hd dvd exclusive, but not my type of movies (I hate movies about robots). Die hard-rated version is more of my concern. I prefer they release uncut version

What terrible choice to make!

As much as I like good quality audio, edited movies is the greater evil for me.

wanted to add - that I assumed the poll is more about TrueHD vs. edited movie content rather than a specific example (I know Transformers isn't coming on Blu-ray, but if it were I'd opt out of TrueHD over an edited version of "Live Free or Die Hard").

That's an easy one. Getting the rated version of Die Hard. I won't get any version of transformers so I don't care about the audio.

It's just nice to seeing the hd folks getting screw twice. Once with the transformers audio and second for owning an hd dud player

But LF or Die Hard is not an 'edited' movie. The 'version' we are getting is the intended theatrical release. An unrated version would technically be the 'edited up' release.

I didn't like the Transformers movie. I grew up with them, but I thought the movie was a 4 out of 10. My wife liked it (proof that the romance vibes were going out).

So, Die Hard is the bigger letdown.

Seriously, enough about Transformers! It's time to get over it. So it's not on Blu-Ray--you can still get it on standard DVD. One film is certainly not going to save HD-DVD's holiday season, which by all accounts they've already lost.

ha ha ha. thats hilarious. so people are sore over buying the theatrical version of die hard that they saw and liked? as opposed to a movie with inconsequential dialogue and cgi 'blood' that they haven't yet seen? who are you people?
