Favorite Christmas Action Movie - Blu-ray Forum

With the holidays fast aproaching I thought I'd put a little spin on the Christmas Blu ray season by asking you guys what your fav ACTION Christmas movie is....

My current fav is Die Hard. Not only is Die Hard a great Christmas movie, but arguably its one of the greatest action films of all time.

i think Expendables over took the thrown for best action movie of all time... I do love Die Hard though.. another Christmas Action movie i would add to this is Lethal Weapon 1

Expendables best all time?? HELL no. Not even the best action movie of the year.

As for the original question, who in their right mind would NOT choose Die Hard??!? It is hands down the best action movie of all time, much less Christmas-themed.

name me a movie that was a better action movie this year please

like i said Die Hard is great its a favorite of mine.. but a PURE action movie, The Expendables can't be beat, the ending scene had more action then all of Die Hard and ironically enough Bruce Willis was in it

No question DIE HARD!!!! And I know some peopel didn't like it as much but I would put DIE HARD 2 up there as well.

Kick-Ass, Iron Man 2, The A-Team, The Losers, Book of Eli, Knight & Day, Predators... and about 10 others I can think of. Are all of those perfect films? Not at all, but far better than the overrated Expendables.... in my opinion, of course.

Expendables was a great idea when they were going to have all the top action stars in one movie. But what we eventually got was mostly C-listers and a geriatric Stallone.

this is a joke and of course your opinion so ill respect that.. but you named some awful movies and i wouldnt even put them in pure action movies catagory.. like Predators??? for real? i was bored out of my mine with that movie.. was there even action in it? and Knight and Day is a comedy action movie, that is not pure action.. Book of Eli had very little action. I didnt see Ateam or The losers so i cant comment.. and look at my above post for kick ass.. and Iron Man 2 was a comedy, not an action movie except for maybe 2 scenes... you're just an Expendables hater i can see, so you will try every way possible to put it down

i havent seen Expendables yet... its in the mailbox today actually... but i find it hard to believe that Iron Man 2 is better... that movie sucked and didnt even have much action in it.... the Losers was HORRIBLE as well... Book of Eli was decent... but not much of an action movie.... and Predators was pretty good....

on topic.... Die Hard obviously.... question... does Die Hard 2 and 3 take place around xmas? i cant remember

It's Throne not Thrown just so you know. Expendables is far from the best action movie of all time.

I think you need to Re-watch Die Hard then come back and tell us that Expendables took over the throne. Bet you don't!

I'm not saying it's better than Die Hard or Lethal weapon but The Long Kiss Goodnight was a pretty decent christmas action movie. It was better than Jingle all the Way at least.
