Trainspotting 2 - Blu-ray Forum

OMG! Danny Boyle recently said that he plans to do Trainspotting 2. What do you think it would looks like?

Can't wait for that... It's a total classic and I hope if they do a sequel, they'll do it right but with Danny Boyle + the original cast, I don't see how it could possibly suck!

Some films shouldnt have sequels and stand alone, i feel this is the case with Trainspotting. I do see how this could suck

It would kind of undermine the first movie if Rent Boy went back onto the junk. And the whole ending of the movie that after Rent Boy ripped off Begbie and Sick Boy that he was supposed to never see them again.

I dont see how it could suck... seriously. Danny Boyle is a very talented director and its not a sequel being made only for money like blockbusters ala Transformers do nowadays.

If Danny Boyle feels there's still something to say about this story, well I totally trust the guy that it'll be good and not sucky. Will it be good like the first one? Maybe not, but the idea to see how the character grew up in their mid life crisis is something that I really wanna see. Danny Boyle isn't Michael Bay. Give him a little trust. If you see all the movies he made... no one sucked... most of them became classics.

Wow I love Trainspotting! don't know if a part 2 is needed, the ending was just perfect.
