United Kingdom The Warriors

I'm a big fan of the original theatrical cut of The Warriors. Thankfully I have this version on DVD. Is there any possibility Paramount might release this version on bluray as the director's cut is pants. If they have both on one disc that wouldn't bother me. I just prefer the original, as the new version ruins the film imho

I haven't heard anything, but I agree with you about the director's cut. It looks awesome on blu ray, far better than I would have thought, but all those comic-booky-cuts are dreadful.

I don't think the comic book stuff and odd intro (was that in the original?) ruin it but it's all a bit unnecessary.

glad to see there's a few more fans of the original out there. the DC was just awful. painful to watch with all those crap cartoon scenes added. I'd really wanna see the original version on BD. I do have a copy of the TV cut as well which is interesting.

I've always been tempted to purchase this on Blu-ray, considering the transfer has been highly praised, but like you guys, the fact that the superior theatrical cut isn't included puts me off.
