Default What's for Christmas dinner?

I suppose most of us (in North America anyway) will be having a Turkey Dinner with all of the fixings, and that sure sounds yummy. The best part for me has always been the mashed potatoes and gravy...

However, I'm having a Ham instead as it's just me and a lady friend. I could have bought a Turkey Breast, but we both like ham and it's pork...so what's not to like? I bought some yams that I'll mash with some butter and brown sugar, then some roasted potatoes, a side of Brussel Sprouts and Green Beans, and of course...a home-made gravy. I'll also make my famous "scones" for gravy-dipping..... All in all it should be a wonderful meal!

What are you guys having?

We have our family/friend activities during Christmas Eve during the evening all the way through 2 or 3am. We open all our presents at midnight. We've been doing this with the same family and friends since 1980 something.

We have the usual. Rice, filipino food, ham, turkey, egg rolls, bread, mash potatoes. Just about everything you can have. I'm after the Pumpkin pie!

Christmas day is the most boring day IMO, and I just have left overs and enjoy the new toys, do some errands dropping off gifts for friends, or I spend the day with LeAnn.

I get those at Costco as well, but I didn't feel like going there today.......it's gotta be nuts in there.

I've also had Goose, Duck and Rabbit for Xmas......all intersting flavours.

First time my mom won't be here for Christmas so i'm cooking dinner.

Now that's an interesting meal. Love me some good ribs, so yeah....why not, eh!

BTW.....is the Bar B Barn still as popular as in years gone by?

I have no idea?

Am I missing out on something? I think I have seen one in West Island but never went inside because it always seems empty.
