Default Movies you wish were or will be a steelbook

I am fairly new to the entire steelbook collecting process. I just got into the game about 2-3 months ago and thanks to many of the forum members for building up my collection by selling me extras or including me in the group buys.

One thing I was thinking about is there are a lot of regular blu's I have that I wish would have had a steelbook release and many upcoming releases that I would like to have in a steelbook. So, this is to see what everyone else would of liked to have had or would like to see -this not in regards to what has been currently been released.

I would like to have seen: Zodiac, Big Trouble in Little China, Blow, Glory, Halloween (1978), The Passion of The Christ, Sunshine and Underworld 1 and 3

Upcoming releases: True Grit (2010), Tron Legacy, Black Swan, Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Thor

Thoughts anyone?

Yup, I wish they come in Steelbooks and individual and not the fat one like The Lord of the Rings futureshop one.

And if somehow when Criterion decides on releasing The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (if they ever will release it on bluray) and by a miracle it happens to be a Steelbook, I would buy 7 of them just for me.
Well only one but you can see how much I love that movie and wish it comes out on bluray.

I just got into the Steelbook game maybe a week ago.

So far only Steelbooks i have are Resident Evil , Resident Evil Apocalypse , Resident Evil Extinction , Resident Evil Degeneration and SALT.

For me being a big fan of horror movies i would love to see more horror Steelbooks.

I don't know if they ever came out in Steelbooks but i would have loved to have seen the X-Men movies come out in Steelbooks.

I also would have loved for the original Batman movies to have been in Steelbook.

I would sell my soul for a US release of Pulp Fiction on Steelbook.

Different strokes for different folks. The reason why I like Alien the most is because of the acting is superb. The 2nd movie has more action, but the acting isnt as strong. I think the acting talent in Alien is about as strong as any movie ive ever seen. Also the fact it was made in the 70's is just amazing. Ridley Scott is a master.

I agree. Everyone has their favorites, especially when it comes to this set. The acting is not a strong in the second one as is it in the first but I do like the additional action.

Default DVD Steelbooks you wish were for the Blu-Ray version?

^ I agree, its one of my favorite steelbooks of all-time! I'm hoping Robocop: 20th Anniversary with all the awesome special features will be re-released on Blu-Ray and if there's no steelbook for it, I'll just replaced my DVD discs with the BR ones!

Default Official - "I want a steelbook of ......" thread

I like the computerized style of Tron Legacy and think it would make a great steelbook. Its a Disney film which probably puts this in the Canadian camp of most likely places for it be sold.

A pic of the bike (as linked above) would be awesome for the back.

Any news of Tron coming to steelbook?
