haha I was just thinking about this the other day. It's crazy...remember those rumors about how QT was going to release it after Grindhouse? So much for that. This picture still drives me nuts.

Could it have something to do with the fact that he intends to make and release two more Kill Bill films?

And they even made a cover. This is getting more weird anyday now that this hasn't been released yet

Several (somewhat unrelated) things pop into my mind reading this thread:

1. Tarantino has never been known for his speed. He may just be taking his time in putting it together just the way he wants to.

2. From a marketing perspective, studios like to release things as a tie-in. Who knows when KB3 will release, but it would be pretty lucrative for a studio to release something like this around when KB3 will be in theaters, especially since the regular releases of v.1 and 2 are out.

3. There could be second thoughts about naming it "The Whole Bloody Affair" when it won't actually be "the whole bloody affair" at all. More like "Half of the whole bloody affair". Not that naming decisions take years to contemplate, but perhaps Tarantino's over all artistic vision for the series is still in the stage of contemplation.

Well ummm it IS "kill bill" whole bloody affair.

BILL IS DEAD

Therefore THAT affair has ended. No need to even think about naming protocol...

Kill Bill : The whole bloody Affair = first 2

next 2 movies = Kill [whatever her name is] : The last bloody affair

Pretty simple in my view :P

I'd have to agree that they may be stalling until a theatrical tie in, to release Kill Bill : The whole bloody affair
