Australia Apocalypse Now... when?

It's been a few months since Apocalypse Now has been available overseas (it came out with the Alien anthology and Back to the Future trilogy). Just wondering if anyone has heard any news regarding an AUS release?

Your better off importing it. The chances of it coming here a high, but the I recon we could get dumped with the standard release and not the 'Full Disclosure Edition'. Its been on my wishlist for a while, but it just hasn't budged in price.

As far as I know, Studio Canal still have the distribution rights in Australia. This means the title will most likely be released by Universal (whereas Paramount have released it in the U.S). This means Kai is right in that we are less likely to get the same edition here. I have release sheets from Universal and Paramount up until April, so unless they plan on sneaking it out - it is not announced for this first quarter.

Amazon had it for $30 on black Friday but I had already spent the grocery money that week.

It was a good price but IMHO not a great one. Unfortunately I set prices on imports and I stick to them as to avoid temptation. Although I would have loved to pick up that set in the Black Friday sales my price for the full disclosure edition is $24.99 so I'll be waiting until it drops to that price. A little tough but that's the way I keep the budget in check!

Who knows though, we may get a local release before that happens but as everyone's saying it'll likely be a more basic version.
