I don't think this is coming out February 8th. I saw this listed I believe on this site and a few others but it's gone. I'd guess it will come out around September like the other TB movies did.

I can't believe deb 8th since amazon doesn't have a pre order available. September sounds much more realistic...

i think the sales sucess with Tinkerbell wasn't foreseen; Disney's got a real hit on their hands with the series so far with each selling better than the last so I think they are gonna ride that train until folks lose interest in it. You really can't blame them. I'd keep them coming as long as customers kept buying them and they are quite good. My family likes them (all of my kids are grown too) and i've got lots of friends with young kids who really love Tink!

I expect Disney to keep sprinkling that pixie dust for a while!

Agreed. We enjoy them and I happen to really like them(dont tell my guy friends ). We only own the first one though so maybe waiting for inevitable box set makes sense?

Default Release Date??

Anyone heard anything on the release date for this one? I've looked all over the place, but can only find the Feb 8th release date, which I'm guessing at this point is wrong.

Looked for this yesterday for my daughter and no one had heard of it. Disney has obviously delayed the release and I hate that because my daughter loves these movies.

LOL still waiting for a killer deal on the whole set before I jump, just no idea when that's going to come. Might have to settle for getting the 4 movies that are known right now around Black Friday.

Default Title Change

Winter Woods has been retitled Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings and should be released around the holidays in 2012. Pixie Hollow Games is a half-hour special that will premiere on the Disney Channel on November 19, 2011 at 7pm Eastern in the US. That makes one Fairy film for each season and one TV special (so far).

Now something just got me super excited
and every delays of Tinker Bell has became clear...

see the blurry, "also on.... " thingy?

I just got Lady & The Tramp on hands (disadvantage of living so far away)

it actually said, (don't know if anyone noticed before), also on Blu-Ray 3D

and I suspected this the first time the release date was postponed!

now i am seriously excited, even in 2D tinker bell has been the most visually stunning IMO

To see it in 3D would be awesome!!! I love this Disney, great move, always support
new things full on, like 3D, and now i'm not upset anymore that it has been delayed for a whole year...

The obvious answer is, "One for each season".
(Tink1 being Spring, Treasure for Fall, Rescue for Summer, and this one, um....Winter.)

The earlier idea was six for the six first books, but there was so much deviation between the two marketing franchises, that idea was dropped quickly.

There's also going to be a fifth next year that is set in all the seasons.

I've only got the third one, knowing all too well it was aimed at 5 year old girls, but actually ended up really enjoying and wasn't as childish as I thought it might have been. So now I'm looking to get the first two as well.

My daughter loves these, and I hate to admit it, but I do too. I'm looking forward to the 4th entry, whenever that may be.

Have you guys noticed the spines of each release so far align to form a picture of the Home Tree? Now if only I could find a slipcover for the first one...

Only the DVD of the first one has a slip (AFAIK). It still aligns with the other Blus though.
