Default The Matrix 4?

Says the brothers have met with Jim Cameron to discuss the pro's and con's of 3D and are looking to deliver something which has never been seen again. keanu stated that he still has an obligation to the fans to deliver a movie worthy of the title "The Matrix" and he swears this time that the treatment will truly revolutionise the action genre like the first movie. Wachowski's are working on a movie called "Cloud Atlas" at the moment, once that concludes they will talk again.

Theres more at the link regarding some of his other potential projects but it sounds like they're really considering doing it. I'd be up for another go with these movies

Ugh, rather see Keanu do a Bill & Ted sequel than another Matrix.

Would it really make sense with the ending of Revolutions? Ah hell, none of the films made too much sense. They should quit while they are ahead. The last two films were okay at best IMO.

Agreed. They should of have quit with the first Matrix. Resident Evil Afterlife might as well be the new Matrix movie with Zombies

Can't really get any worse than the last 2 movies and I'm sure they're aware of that.

Sh!t. I wouldn't mind seeing The Matrix in 3D. If they do it, I'll probably jump to 3D a little earlier than planned.

They should have stopped at the first one. It at least was good. This can only end in more bad cinema.

Love the trilogy, and I'd love to see what new tricks they (should we call them brothers? ) might have under their sleeves.

dude....you defend the horrid SW prequels with frothing fanboy fervor. You are in NO position to point an accusatory crooked finger of judgment at any film for the rest of your life

The Star Wars prequels are great films. Better on average than the Original Triliogy. Matrix 2 and 3 blew.

It's all about opinions and perception Beast. Some people don't like the prequels, some people don't like the Matrix sequels and vice versa. We all have different tastes, just remember that

Exactly. Hell, I really liked the first Matrix. I just was disappointed how badly the sequels crahed and burned.

Please keep the action of Neo more in the realm of reality and more like The Matrix rather than the other 2.

I know he is meant to be a super being and all and you can show that in a few scenes but keep the majority more based on reality.

If they bring back trinity then the movie is already a flop

Based on the reaction in Revolutions I think Trinity is gone for good, I could see them giving "Mr. Anderson" a new love interest though, he is still "only human."

I think Love should be left out completely, Seems to figure way too much in movies nowadays

I would have been happier if Zion turned out to be another layer of the Matrix to be perfectly honest.

It's just plain silly. The whole idea of finding Neo and freeing humans from the Matrix works perfectly well if it was the only time it happened, but to say it's a repeating event, a glitch, just doesn't hold water.

If the machines eradicate Zion and Neo at regular intervals then who keeps rebuilding it and freeing people from the Matrix?
