United Kingdom Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources?

Are these two films available anywhere with English subtitles (or know if they are due anytime soon)? I know the French releases are missing English subs, but my French isn't good enough to follow the dialogue (even with French subtitles). I have searched but not found them anywhere (not even Canada). Both films surely deserve to be released on Blu-ray given the story, the visuals, the music and their popularity.

Unfortunately, they are not. The French editions are not English-friendly.

Does Sony/MGM still own the USA rights to this film?

Who owns the rights to this film in the UK?

Who owns the rights to this film in Australia?

Is it likely that one of those countries (USA, England, Australia) will eventually release a blu-ray of this film? And if so, which country would probably do it?

These would be wonderful in blu-ray! And how about Juliet Binoche's Hussiar Sur Le Toit (Horseman on the Roof) or so many other of the great French films. And Italian films...
