Maestro is not accepted in the US (you could try and force it through as a debit mastercard or something, since Maestro is owned by mastercard, but I'm almost certain it won't work). You also can't pay via PayPal on Amazon US. The best international debit card is a Visa Debit because it works anywhere that Visa (credit or debit) is accepted, which must be pretty much everywhere in the world that accepts card payments. Worth bearing in mind if you travel outside of Europe or want to order things from North America. Most UK banks have switched over to them now (including HSBC in the last few years - i know because I worked for them!)
If you want to order the US one using PayPal, Axelmusic and Movietyme are good for importing US releases, and both accept PayPal. Not sure Tron is up for pre-order there yet though. It's worth bearing in mind I'm not sure this has been confirmed as region free yet. Most recent Disney releases have been, but they have had a history of locking titles. http://www.movietyme.com/catalog/ http://www.dvdworldusa.com Lots of other options but I'm assuming you want to avoid import charges etc. Those stores are helpful in that area as they reship from the EU etc. Last edited by The Driver; 02-08-2011 at 12:30 AM. |

DVDworldusa re-ship their stuff from within the UK, it gets sent from the US and then packaged and sent out 1st class.
DVDworldusa have a return address in the UK also as i've had to return a damaged slipcover before. |
