Default Why Sony is still unable to stop this Jailbreak Piracy?

I mean seriously Why Sony is still unable to stop this Jailbreak thing? There must be some way to stop it. Its been time now but still there is no action by Sony on this thing. I know this thing forced the PS3 to a previous version but come on Sony this is your machine, dont let others taking control.

Now, the PS3 game which I get for $50 others are getting the backup of the same game for only $5

Comeon Sony do something or u will lose some huge huge revenue. I was very proud to say this to all 360 fanboys that look PS3 is unhackable but I am proved wrong!

Dude, are you as brainwashed as Sony wants you to be? You can't STOP hacks or piracy. No one ever has.

Uh no, theyre getting them for free. This is 2011, you know there are such things as torrents where you can download illegal things for free?

Just to play along, Sony's encryption keys have been completely compromised. It would be impossible for Sony to stop piracy on the PS3 now, unless they wanted to obsolete every single existing console that has already been sold.

Question 1: How long was it before the PS3 was hacked from the moment it was first released to the public?

Question 2: How long was it before the 360 was hacked from the moment it was first released to the public?

I'm guessing English isn't the OP's primary language.

That doesn't matter, though.

How do you know that Sony wants you to be brainwashed? Where did you gather that information from?

Well, the public key has been compromised. The private key has not been compromised. They could, eventually, lock the system back down again. However, it's a multi-step process. It's not a one update sort of thing. You can read my post in the firmware update thread, for more details.

Yes English is not my language but I am not here to discuss literature lol. Well I hope that very soon this party for all the PS3 Jailbreak users will end.

So your motivation was to say it to all the 360 fanboys? Reality check, a lot of 360 fanboys are happy to be able to play pirated games and have been able to do since pretty much near the time it launched.

In the last month or so Sony released a statement stating that they have started to scan the network and any PS3 that has illegal hacks on it will be permanently banned from the PSN with a "no tolerance" attitude.

I'd say that is a step towards keeping the OP's concerns (and mine) at bay.

...until they ban your account for some perceived risk that doesn't exist. I recently dealt with them regarding an extra activated PS3 against my account. In their return email, they basically accused me of sharing my account info and breaking my agreement, something I have never done.

That's what I thought, too! There are more 360 Pirates then PS3 Pirates!

I don't see how people like to have a blank disk in a blank jewel case with a title written in sharpie, just to save a couple of dollars?

The attitude eventually came down to for my friend, "nah, not worth wasting the time to download the file and burn to a disc" quite often for a person I know. Not much about the money for him either.

I would love to have all the old roms (SNES, NES, Genesis, arcade, etc) like I did when I had an xbox via my roomies, lol 99% of uses on the xbox was for games not even intended for it.
