Default Whatever happened to George Lucas' "Red Tails"?

Does anyone know when that movie is supposed to come out?
(I though it was long ago )

Why is it taking so long?

What's going on?

Does anyone have info regarding the endless delays??

The same thing that sent "Radioland Murders" down the twenty-year last-minute B-project toilet--
All of Lucas's earlier setting-director filmmaker dreams have been taken over by midichlorians.

George Lucas is doing several reshoots, beacuse for parts of the movie he was unhappy with how Anthony Hemingway directed them.

Although it does seem Anthony Hemingway is alright with this and he will have final say on how the movie will look. So at least GL is taking over all the movie.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for those experimental, personal movies he was going to make after he finished the Star Wars movies...

...So, I guess he's not going to do "Apocalypse Now", then?

Gosh, I would love to see him make those films.

A match made in heaven would be him filming Hermann Hesse's "Siddhartha", but I don't think it would ever happen.

Anyways, perhaps he is focusing on the upcoming BDs right now, therefore "Red Tails" is being delayed or sth.?

If we're lucky, George Lucas won't be directing until he's sane again.
