This womens parents were slaves sit back and drink that in for second there is a women that is alive whose parents were slaves. This just blew my mind like is hasn't been blown in a LONG TIME! (i'm not black) But It makes you realize that slavery wasn't as long ago as we think... Not trying to bring up anything racial, but i just can't belive that this women is 119 and that there is someone walking this earth whose parents were slaves. The stuff this women has seen... She was born in the 1800's i mean wow... It almost brought a slight tear to my eye seeing how cool it is to have someone that old still with us. I mean if you live to 110 you should automatically get 1,000,000 dollars.

My great great grandma died a few years back, a few weeks before her 110th birthday. So close to that million dollars

Her race has nothing to do with it.... anyone who has been alive for that long has seen things, and has had parents who have seen things that are pretty crazy to us.... Slavery is just one of many of those things.

This woman is old enough to probably remember when the first few people in her city/town got a car.... then the first T.V., and now T.V.'s IN cars.....

119 years is a long time....

I have to say that's pretty amazing to still be alive at 119.

But I know I sure as hell don't want to live that long.

I didn't want to bring up race at all but i just can't believe there is someone alive whose parents were slaves. I just can't fathom that. As long as i was healthy i'll live as long as life decides.
