Default Seinfeld and ER on Blu-ray?

I know there are some Seinfeld discussions already but I couldn't find the right one. Please feel free to remove this thread if this is being discussed elsewhere.

Are there any news when/if Seinfeld will receive blu-ray treatment? How about ER? These 2 are probably my favorite shows so I'd be thrilled to own them in hd one day.

Once Blu-ray hits a certain percentage of the market, expect Seinfeld as the transfers to HD are already done and that is still a premier show in popularity. You will never see ER on Blu-ray.

I'd love to upgrade my Seinfeld DVDs to HD. Those HD reruns on Fox look great. Unfortunately haven't heard of any definite plans.

I am always amazed at how...well, amazing Seinfeld looks in HD on TBS's re-runs. I will definitely pick it up when it heads to Blu-Ray.

As for ER... I doubt the DVDs sell well enough for them to be considering a Blu-Ray release. At most they'll release the first season to test the waters, but 15 seasons is a big commitment.

edit. http://www.amazon.com/ER-Complete-First-Season-Blu-ray/dp/B001E96JMO/ref=sr_1_2?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1301320737&sr=1-2

Might not mean anything but oh well..
Amazon lists those placeholders for almost every popular show and movie, even ones that have no chance of getting a Blu-ray release.

If Seinfeld gets the Blu-ray treatment count me in for sure. I'd also like to see season 1-4 of The Office come out on Blu-ray as I'd buy them instantly.

i got the Seinfeld box set and got all the seasons of ER, and there no way i would upgrade my sets, its just to much money, when you can spent your money making your collection bigger with newer movies not upgrades

Is there a substantial difference between the complete set and the individual season sets?

Are the on-disc special features the same?

Also, is the complete set OOP? Seems like it. My only option is to pick up the individual season at $10 a piece.
