I'd be interested to see how Bad Santa and Adventureland will look.

Why are the Kill Bills and Sin City on this list? I don't see how those transfers can get much better...

Same transfer/same special features for all. Only with the exception of a DTS- MA track for all and the "Lionsgate" logo on the covers.

Chances are these will be exactly the same discs that Disney released.

Any chance for slipcovers on Kill Bill?

They're on the list for the same reason as the others -- Disney no longer has the rights and Lionsgate now does. Given the speed to market on these (with the ink barely dry on the deal), I think everyone's assumption is 100% correct: These will be the same transfers as before, just with Lionsgate logos on the packaging.

one nice thing for those that do not already own these films--

with Lionsgate's history of pricing-- they should all be ten bucks or less in the not too far distant future

Means Clerks and Chasing Amy should actually be affordable now, since LG movies tend to be cheap.

If anything, I imagine we see this line aggressively priced at Walmart. Lionsgate has always worked with Walmart to move a lot of product at cheap price points. I could see many of these at $10 in Walmart down the line. Seeing that Lionsgate is reissuing every current Miramax Blu-ray, the discs are likely to be identical in content to the Disney versions.

oh man, The Invisible is missing too. I wonder if it'll eventually be released with the other absent titles.

Well, wasn't Hero gimped all around since it's edited down? I doubt Lionsgate did anything but repress the current discs but had the artwork altered to have Lionsgate instead of Buena Vista on them.

No one is getting review copies. They're the same discs with the labels changed

Hero was not edited for Western audiences, the DVD and Blu-ray Disc of the Miramax release are the original Hong Kong theatrical cut.
