Default HDMI issue

Okay, my current tv dosen't have an hdmi connection. I need to know if my ps3 will play bluray movies (not games) w/out having this connection ?

it will play all movies. The first batch of movies will play at 1080i if you have a HD tv, 480i with out a high def tv. Later on the studios have the choise to only output at 480p (instead of 1080i) using the analog outputs.

You should be able to connect a PS3 to a hidef tv using component, or possibly the DVI input if you have one.

If you have a normal CRT tv, then an RGB scart will be fine. I actually don't know whether there is much point in watching HD movies on an non HD screen though?
