Default Phantom of the Opera 2004 (German release)

This is my first ever blu-ray double dip as I was dissatisfied with the audio of the Warner US release.

I can confirm the following: The disc is region free and plays fine on my US Panasonic. The English audio track is contrary to the indication on the back cover and the menu standard dts 5.1 not dts HD. Only the German dubbed track is dts HD. However, the English standard dts track on this disc still beats the DD 5.1 track of the Warner US release easily.
Image quality is excellent, but I don't have the capabilities to determine the codec used. According to the information provided by Concorde it should be AVC/Mpeg4.
Overall this disc is a clear improvement over the Warner release even though it doesn't have any extras except a small booklet. The artwork is also more beautiful befitting the blue box.

I think all releases from Concorde are region free. I can confirm that The Jackal and the 12 Monkeys are region free. Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider 2 and Underworld have previously been confirmed to be region free.

The only movies not yet confirmed are the following:

Alone in the Dark
Brothers Grimm
Silent Hill
We were Soldiers

But these will very probable be region free also.

Question

is there a French version? I'm looking for the original French voice actors, not the Canadian ones (Cecilia Cara and Damien Sargue, young talents that did the Romeo and Juliette French musical)

I felt this was worth opening this thread again....The Japan import of Phantom of the Opera has both an English PCM track AND a Dolby True track, if you go to that page and use a language-converter, both sound formats are English tracks. Looks like I am going to order one. Japan is the same region (#1) as we are. It is actually on sale cheaper at Amazon Japan.

Does anyone own the German 2010 "Special Edition" re-release (pictured below) from Concorde on Blu-ray?

I'd like to know if it's region-free (vs. locked to Region B), if there's forced German subtitles, and how good the A/V quality is (lossless audio, DNR, etc.)

Digging this up from the dead, but what’s the deal with this release? Region free, the English track is indeed lossless, no forced subs, etc? Been trying to find a lossless version other than the super expensive Japanese one.
