Me too I just wish I knew what films were in it. I don't want to buy it if has Murder on the Orient Express. I own that already.

Pre-ordered, and I've found a new Blu-ray "Poirot: Murder on the Orient-Express" at a very good price on eBay!

Now (even if I like the idea) I'm almost hoping they don't re-release everything back on Blu-Ray... That series cost me a lot of cash already! The Box-sets are always around $45 on DVD for 3 or 4 movies. But if they release the series on Blu-Ray, I know I will not be able to resist the upgrade...

Yeah the set's can be very expensive and like you if they are good quality I would want to upgrade all of them.

Was this collection ever confirmed as a bundle of the individual seasons or a single package with all the discs?

Also, this set is listed on Blu-ray.com with 13 discs while the individual 1-6 releases contain 14 discs in total. Is there a disc missing from the collection?

I haven't seen the packaging, but I can confirm that the disc count is accurate, because I know what I reviewed and I have confirmed with Acorn what is included in the set:

Series 1: 2 discs
Series 2: 2 discs
Series 3: 3 discs
Series 4: 2 discs
Series 5: 2 discs
Series 6: 2 discs

Thanks for clarifying, Micheal. I thought I saw 3 discs in season 6, but it's defintiely 2 so 13 total in the set would be accurate.

I emailed Acorn Media the Series 6 review and this was the response:

Hello James,

I looked into this and yes, the picture quality on that particular section isn't as great as others. The master material we got from the producers was different (and all that was available) for that particular section so this is as good as we could make it.

Fair enough. I have all the Seasons on Blu (and the remaining on DVD) and I can't wait to get Season 7-11 on Blu-ray.

Do you think Acorn will do the A&E series also?
