I broke my tv!!!!!

So earlier today, I got into an argument with my father and I lost my temper and threw my Blackberry into the tv screen.

Now here's the situation. I need a new HDTV immediately that's at least $700 or below. I've been thinking about buying a Panasonic plasma but other considerations are helpful. The HDTV has to be 1080p with 600hz.

i don't know any exact models, but i would look into a Sony Bravia. unless you absolutely wanted a plasma. i would start looking on amazon, and depending where you live, no tax if you do get it from amazon

Actually I was kinda leaning towards the Panasonic TC-P42S30 from Best Buy. It's on sale for $719 + tax but I don't know anything about this tv. I'm aware of the reviews but has anyone had it for a long time? Anything I should be aware of?

I couldn't find any reviews on it (TC-P42S30), but the cheapest I could find it was $678.70 with free shipping.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Do u have accidental damage insurance on your contents policy? I've got it for all my stuff, it can really come in handy and all it costs is a few dollars extra a month. I broke my iphone not long ago and even it was covered, my insurance company sent me a $1200 cheque, which was the price it was listed for on my phone contract paper work.

I am pretty certain he will lean to control his anger better after droping $700 or more on a new set! Anger management is a learned skill that unfortuantly they do not teach in schools.

Happlily married for going on 12 years and only two arguments with nothing broken - we leave the passion for other areas of life.

Hey man thanks a lot for backing me up, I owe you one. To admit the truth, I can live without a phone. Some people can be very ignorant and simple minded just like millwork. That person doesn't know who I am and I could be a very dangerous person. Losing my temper and breaking equipment is a good example. All those haters aren't in the same shoes so they don't know what my situation is.

Thank you! Everybody lives a different life. My father was right but he could've said it in a nicer way. He pretty much had every right because I haven't done anything with my life except watch blu-ray movies, browse the internet, sleep, eat, hang out with friends, live paycheck to paycheck, and go on spending sprees.

i messed up my older 56'' sony (it wasn't a flatscreen it was a big floormodel type) anyway i threw a PS3 controller at it and it hit dead center in the middle of the screen. it still worked it just looked like a bullet hit my tv.
