Rumor: God of War PSP Games Coming to PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

According to an unofficial news website, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced a game titled God of War Portable Collection which will be coming to PS3 in Asia on July 7. The game would be a port of the two PSP titles God of War: Chains of Olympus from 2008 and God of War: Ghost of Sparta from 2010, with high resolution and enhanced graphics.

The news website The Magic Box has reported that the two PSP games will be ported to the PS3 and released in Asia. It could be on a Blu-ray disc or even on the PSN Store, however, it is still unknown as to whether or not the information is even credible.

i know shin-ra said i didnt need to credit him for finding the pics. but, im gonna give him credit anyway.

Man, if this does happen, sign me up (even if I have to import it from play-asia.com). I never got to play either one of them due to not having a psp.

chains is a great game. this game is the reason why i bought a pspgo. never got to play the 2nd psp game.

Haven't played Ghost of Sparta yet, but I'd definitely get it on PS3 instead of PSP if this ends up being true.

Not sure about the source, The Magic Box don't provide theirs AFAIK.

Even without any manual touch-ups it looks ok in higher resolutions.

I wouldn't mind playing these on PS3 (as I do not own a PSP). I've read they're great additions to the GoW series.

$129.99. Still won't be able to play Peace Walker...thats only if you like MGS though.

I was at a K Mart and they had a God of War PSP collection set (including PSP and memory stick, and the two PSP GoW games) for $170. Not a bad deal since most dealers still sell Ghost of Sparta for $40. Also I think peace walker sells for $20 now.

MGS even more than GoW.

I guess I can pray that they eventually do the same with Peace Walker?
