I agree. And the fact theyre not great titles means they know us collectors will buy them anyway therefore boosting their sales. Alot of my steelbooks i prob wouldnt have got if they hadnt been steelbooks. Im in for 1 or 2 here just depending on artwork

Both National Treasures for me was hoping for them to be released as Steelbooks. I love both movies. Maybe Prince of Persia and Alice depending on artwork

I am a pretty big collector, but I am not planning on buying any of them. I say wait for the price to drop to $10 on them. Amazon always lowers the price when they need to clear stock.

This seems like a case of them trying to get a cash grab on us steelbook collectors. Don't bite people.

They will drop if people dont buy them.

This is no longer a collectors item. Its a commodity. Too many being released.

I'm interested in a few of these titles, but the thing I fear the most about them is they won't have inside artwork...

like the Paramount and the horizontal Universal waves...

Well Disney always did a great Job with their Steels in any country so i don't believe we will be disappointed. Just would love to see Armageddon as Steel too

Well problem in Germany with Disney is its hard to find a Disney Blu-ray under 20€ without being a Steelbook. Some dropped now but it took a very long time. So i guess those won't drop in price too fast. But i might be wrong

Too many released for what? I buy steelbooks because the cases are nice not because they're rare or because I hope i'll make some money off them. I don't see why how many being released is a concern. I'll probably get Deja Vu and Gone In 60 Seconds because they're two films I really like. So getting the steelbook is justified, as long as the artwork is good.

By the time the price drops there is a higher percentage of getting damaged Steels. No thanks. I would rather pay an extra $5.00 for a dent free copy.

You're kidding yourself if you think these are really 'collector's items'. They are a marketing gimmick used to push old/dead stock.

Mind you, they are very pretty marketing gimmicks.

But don't expect to use them as a downpayment on your home.

Alice in Wonderland would be the only one for me, that is assuming I remember it.
