I believe this is coming from the same company that made Magic Forest and is only a screen saver. Not 100% sure though.

I'm working on my own aquarium movie at the moment which will have some amazing popout scenes.

No, that 'company' (or, one-man show) was made by Marton Prech from Hungary (Eastern Europe). The English version is not a screensaver, but a (terrible) 3D 'movie' in the Over-Under (or, Top-Bottom) 3D-type, which cuts your resolution in half. The audio was terrible, and the disc was a BD-R (recordable)!.

However, the German version is actually an official Blu-ray 3D disc (in the official format), and even include 7.1 lossless audio, for some reason!? See here: Magic Forest - Germany

The one listed seems to come from the same company that produces 'HD Moods', which newer versions receive better reviews than the older ones. You are probably talking about terrible discs like:
- Meeres Aquarium (AFAIK in either Side-by-side, or Top-Bottom 3D)
- 3D Meeres Aquarium (same, but in good-oll Anaglyph with red-blue glasses)
- Saltwater Aquarium (read the reviews: it's terrible)
- Unterwasser Welten (no clue, not released yet)
- Korallen Riff (same, not released yet)

I would wait for the reviews, if I were you. There is way too much garbage out there at the moment, so I am carefull and wait a bit before I buy one of those. Just my $0.02.

My mistake, thank you for the info! Magic Forest wasn't as bad as some people reviewed I thought. For an amature 3D movie it was alright.

I am curious to see this Aquarium movie, since I am working on my own at the moment. I shoot amature 3D and been making movies myself. It's good to have others that do the same, as it puts out more 3D content for people to watch.

I agree with you, and think that more content is always good.

However, I think that some of the reasons that Magic Forest got so bad reviews were: the false advertisement about it beeing Blu-ray 3D (and logo-misuse), being printed on a recordable home-printed disc (without mentioning this), and even the glasses needed to watch the anaglyph version were NOT included. I agree that the movie wasn't that bad in itself, but since all the rest was, I labeled it overall as 'terrible'; just my $0.02, of course.

Anyway, please keep us posted on your 3D-project!

I agree 100% that may be why it got such bad reviews. The quality was pretty good, I did notice though some scenes had jaggy edges on objects and blurred a bit. But for amature 3D, it was good.

I'll keep updates on my movie which should be done hopefully in a few days.
